i emailed eastern state penitentiary to ask if i could film a doc about the history of the paranormal in their building. they said no b/c it would compromise their values of prison reform. while that would make sense,  it falls flat as an appeal to the moral high ground seeing as how they turn the entire building into a haunted house every year for months at a time
